The Effects of the Gospel (Mark 1:12-20)

In philosophy, you have the subject of cause and effect. To understand this in its most basic form, let’s look at this simple equation. If “X” is a necessary cause of “Y”, then the presence of “Y” necessarily implies the presence of “X”. The presence of “X”, however, does not imply that “Y” will occur. The “X” that we are going to look at today is Jesus and His gospel. This cause “X” is an incredible cause. And because of this cause, there should be an effect “Y”.
